For the first project of my University of Maryland (UMD) INST367 class Prototyping and Development Studio I was tasked with re-designing the Tesla Auto-Pilot car interface. In 2023 the current design of this key feature of their cars was not up to par, often not recognizing key scenarios that it should keep into account, putting car consumers and their surroundings into critical danger. If you click the Tesla Auto-Pilot button you can learn more about this process of mine!
For the second project of the UMD INST367 class Prototyping and Development Studio I was asked with a group of peers to tackle a common problem that college students faced in their lives. The whole class came up with issues from a couple different topic areas such as parenthood, finance, friendships, etc. We were then given a synthesized list of specific challenges from these areas and requested to tackle one and me and my 3 classmates chose to address the topic of companionship amongst those of our age group. I explain further in the page linked to this Pen Pals button.

From September to early November of 2022, during my third to last semester at UMD, while I was taking the class INST408V: Special Topics in Information Science; Visual Design Studio, I was presented with an opportunity to do a simple one-page re-design of a company's website. I decided to attempt to improve San Francisco design e-commerce studio Rest.’s. I go through the steps it took me if you click on the button after this blurb!
Following in this class, from mid November to December of 2022 during the last month or so of the semester, I was requested to do a more complex muti-page re-design of a company's web presence. I decided to tackle award-winning furniture/similar item design studio of Norway origin Lars Tornøe. On the individual page of this project I explain the design process from start to end on how I accomplished this.
